The current season of Danish Esport League will come to a close on Sunday at DSRack eSports Café, where four teams will compete for cash as well as hardware prizes.
In end of January the Danish teams once again had a national league to play, with the return of DEL. Close to two months later and the group stage is past us, playoffs will take place on Sunday.
Top four from the group stage advance to the LAN finals, held at DSRack eSports Café in Copenhagen. The format for the season finals is a single-elimination bracket, playing best-of-three maps.
It will however be a bit unorthodox in terms of how it will be played. SharkGaming finished fourth in the group stage, meaning they will go up against third ranked team aceBy, in what could be considered as a quarter-final.
The winner of this match will be facing Anexis, who finished second in the group stage, in a semi-final if you like. The team to win will move on to the final, where they will face first place in the group stage, Xapso.
Schedule
12:00 -SharkGaming vs.
aceBy
14:00 -Anexis vs. quarter-final winner
16:00 -Xapso vs. semi-final winner
The three teams to make top three will be competing for the following prizes:
1. 7,000DKK (€942)
2. 2,000DKK (€269) + hardware
3. 1,000DKK (€135) + hardware
